![]() ![]() Since Reason 9.5 at this point only supports instruments and effect. You restart Propellerhead Reason 9.5 and it scans the complete VST folder in one go. You point the directory where the VST are located at. You install the 64-bit VST plugins in a specific directory. VST support first glanceĪs far integration in reason goes, it works pretty awesome. I didn't really write much about it since a lot has already been covered on twitch while doing live stream sessions to explore different features. Yet still, till this day there was always one specific request that most people wanted to have: Vst support in Reason 9.5. Third party support first came in the form of Rack Extensions. There have been a lot of discussions about having third party plugins in this DAW. While this feature has been requested for many years, we finally have it. As most of you may already know, This release comes with VST support. While there has been a lot of talk about this release, we decided to let the storm settle a little bit before really diving in to this major update. Reason 9.5 has officially been released on the 29th of may 2017. ![]()
